The Tokyo Game Show has opened the floodgates of information from Japanese gaming companies, including news about series long dead. Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden (a.k.a. Final Fantasy Adventure in the West) is apparently coming back to life as a remake of 1991 release.

Square Enix originally teased the game in June but has only now divulged significant info. The remake will sport updated 3D graphics and is currently 50% complete. Though it was originally the first Seiken Densetsu (Mana) game, it will utilize the ring command system from Secret of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 2)

Square Enix has also released the first trailer for the game, which states it will come to PS Vita, iOS, and Android. It should be available in Japan this Winter.
