Reminder: Altus' Genei Ibun Roku #FE is Still Fabulous

The Nintendo blog has provided new information about the upcoming Wii U game Genei Ibun Roku #FE (or Illusion Revelations #FE). This is an interesting cross up of Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem, containing re-imagined characters and gameplay elements from both series.

Come at us, bro.

First copies of the game will include a code to download a set of costumes from other Atlus games:

  • Walter (Shin Megami Tensei IV)

  • Protagonist (Devil Survivor 2)

  • Rei (Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth)

  • Princess (Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City)

I can't fight evil, unless I'm wearing the latest fashion.

A "Fortissimo Edition" was also announced, containing additional goodies:

  • Original art book
  • Special box featuring illustrations by artist "toi8"
  • Soundtrack of six vocal songs, including "Reincarnation" by Kiria (Yoshino Nanjo)
  • Download codes for the "Fashion Show" and "Swimsuit" costumes.


You can even buy a Fortissimo Edition Wii U bundle, which includes (along with the aforementioned):

  • 32 gigabyte black Wii U
  • Six character lyric cards (album jacket size)
  • Two sheets of stickers
  • Codes for 3 support quests

More updates are expected to come in October, though gaming magazines. Expect to get updates about the game, a new character, and the release of more character videos. The game is set for release on Nintendo Wii U on December 26th in Japan. A Western release was confirmed, with no date at this time.
