Warning: For the first 30 seconds of this video, you may experience an episode of WTFS (What The Fudge Syndrome). Hang in there, for the gameplay of Legend of Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes is coming up!

So let's talk about what's going on. We have some Four (minus one) Swords style teamwork action, with the ability to Link (teehee) the consoles together, but with some interesting gameplay mechanics. The Three Heroes can stack on top of one another! This “Totem Time” will be used in puzzles, platforming, and combat. Also, there are magical items that will be used for similar functions.

You might want to hurry up and shoot that.

Don't have 3 friends to play with? You will be able to issue commands to the other team members, or use a strange mask to switch between the characters Lego style; leaving them immobile to solve certain puzzles. Also, COSTUMES?! Looks like your hero will have access to costumes with different effects. Like a Zora costume that makes you swim faster, or a Goron costume that lets you walk in lava.

Yeah, Red! Just keep doing that thing!

With over 30 stages, and an additional PvP arena, Legend of Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes is shaping up to be an interesting experience, for you and your fellow adventurers. The English release is currently set for 10/23/15. Come hither to our media gallery, and check out some screen shots of the game!
