Whatever your opinion of recent turmoil at Konami, it is undeniable that they hold the IP to some classic gaming franchises. It appears the company is turning its eye toward these franchises with its heritage games survey. The survey asks respondents which franchises they would like to see in the future, and perhaps more importantly, what they like about each franchise and how they want the games to look in the future. Of note to RPG fans, it includes Suikoden, Castlevania, and Vandal Hearts.
Though many have complained about Konami's treatment of these franchises in the past, this could be an important first step to winning back consumer confidence, if they listen the survey results. Just don't do something silly like voting that Suikoden be mobile-only.
