Dengeki PlayStation has released more info on Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, this time focusing on Plachta, the girl with the titular mysterious book. Plachta suffers from amnesia, but is able to restore her memories by completing alchemy recipes. She recalls that she fought against a mysterious enemy in the past, but cannot remember who or why. She joins Sophie to regain her memories.
Though Plachta herself is not very strong, she fights with a combination of her Drive Machine Soldier weapon and magic derived from her mysterious book, to devastating effect. She can also use a large variety of items forged through alchemy.
Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book comes out in Japan on September 25th for the PlayStation 4, 3, and Vita. Check out the latest screenshots in the link below.
