Ready to fix those odd and annoying issues.

For reasons that never entirely made sense, the PlayStation 4 version of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster had a couple of major technical issues that Square Enix is finally getting around to fixing with a patch. No date has been set for its implementation yet, but the patch will resolve the following two issues:
1) Currently, random battles are, in fact, not random in Final Fantasy X. From the first battle, the RNG mechanics are broken and the enemies in each battle are pre-determined. This will be resolved and battles will be random, as they were intended to be and are in every other version of the game.
2) Field music will be fixed for both games so that it does not restart after every battle. Instead, like in other versions, the track will pause when a battle begins and resume once it's done.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is available on PS3, PS4 and PS Vita now.
