EarthBound Beginnings Announced for the Wii U Virtual Console

At Nintendo's World Championships today, Nintendo announced that EarthBound Beginnings will be heading to the Wii U Virtual Console. The game is a port of the original Famicom game Mother, which was the predecessor to EarthBound. This will also be the first time time the game will be released in North America and Europe. On top of that you won't even have to wait long for the game as it is will be available to download today at 6pm PST. You can watch the announcement trailer below.
