Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King is headed to the Nintendo 3DS this summer, and V-Jump recently got to spend about 21 minutes on video with the updated title. Enhancements include new scenarios, two new playable characters, full voice acting, and music by the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra.
Despite the length of the video, the actual gameplay footage starts at five minutes in, has several breaks in between, and ends at about 18:30 or so. You'll get a look at the overworld, some story scenes, and hear plenty of the Japanese voices.
Dragon Quest VIII for 3DS is out on August 27th in Japan, with a Western release not yet announced.
