As you already know, Dragon Quest VIII is getting a port on the Nintendo 3DS. You're probably wondering what this version of the PS2 classic will look like, and thanks to the latest Nintendo Direct out of Japan you can stop imagining and start seeing. Thankfully, the trailer is the first part of the YouTube video below.

Dragon Quest VIII is out on August 27th in Japan. No word on a western release, but hopefully we'll hear something at E3. And while we're at it, Square Enix, how about some Dragon Quest VII on 3DS love?
