It's been a little while since we've heard any news about Telltale's The Walking Dead. It was back in July of 2014 that they revealed that season 3 is a go. Well, now it's been confirmed that fans of The Walking Dead are going have to wait until 2016 to get their hands on Season 3. Still, this apparently doesn't mean that The Walking Dead will be completely absent from 2015.
Job Stauffer, the director of Public Relations for Telltale Games, recently sent out some interesting tweets. "To re-clarify, no, TWD S3 is *not* starting in 2015, but what I am seeing this week will be, and it is insanely cool. Stay close, news soon!" A little later he added, "Alright. No more WD teasing on Twitter until E3. Simply put, no S3 this year, but WD fans are still getting something major in 2015." So it sounds like Telltale has at least something up their sleeve when it comes to The Walking Dead at E3 this year.
The Walking Dead Season 2 was released last Summer, with the shorter DLC campaign The Walking Dead 400 Days released between the first and second seasons. Is Stauffer hinting at a follow-up to The Walking Dead 400 days? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
