We already knew that The Great Ace Attorney featured literary icon Sherlock Holmes, but now we know that at least one of the cases in the game finds inspiration from one of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous tales. If you've already read The Adventure of the Speckled Band then you'll know what protagonist Ryunosuke is in for.
The case takes place on The Araclay, a ship bound for London. Ryunosuke finds himself accused of a crime, though Sherlock comes to believe that he is innocent. You'll meet some interesting characters during this case, including a Russian ballerina named Nikomina Bolshevich and Mitrov Straganov, a senior crew member acting as a guard on the night of the incident.
The Great Ace Attorney is out on July 9th in Japan for Nintendo 3DS.
