Dragon Quest VIII 3DS Japanese Voice Cast Announced
This looks better then the smartphone version.

Thanks to the latest issue of Jump magazine, the voice cast for the recently announced 3DS version of Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King has been announced. The cast list will include:

  • Angelo voiced by Yoshimasa Hosoya

  • Jessica voiced by Ayana Taketatsu

  • Yangus voiced by Fumihiko Tachiki

  • Trode voiced by Hiroshi Iwasaki

  • Princess Medea voiced by Risa Taneda

  • Gerda voiced by Hitomi Nabatame

  • Morrie voiced by Joji Nakata

  • Dhoulmagus voiced by Takehito Koyasu

We also have a scan of the magazine depicting some early screenshots of the game on the 3DS.

Dragon Quest VIII 3DS Magazine Scan

Dragon Quest VIII is due out in Japan for the 3DS on August 27th. No Western release date has been announced as of yet.
