Tabata Responds to Episode Duscae Survey Results
Survey says...players want to see some ladies!
04.01.15 - 3:10 PM

After opening a feedback survey to Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae players, director Hajime Tabata spoke about some of the results in the latest issue of Famitsu. He noted that many respondents expressed a desire for a female party member. While the game is designed around a "guys on the road" vibe, Tabata said that "female characters may participate as guests in the party." The addition of a woman to the mix would also create opportunities to showcase a different facet of the group's dynamic.

Tabata also had much to say on the combat system. He said the demo represented about half of the progress planned for the full game and promised many improvements based on player feedback. He mentioned that the inclusion of new elements like magic and cooperative chains would completely change the feel of combat. However, the team will not be able to implement "part destruction" on enemies due to technical hurdles. Finally, he noted that the summon featured in the demo had special specifications and will be improved upon in the full game.
