Masaya Games has released more information on the cast of Langrisser Re:Incarnation, coming to Nintendo 3DS in Japan. Pictured below, the two new characters are named are Maya and Ansel.
Maya is the maid of the Rovina family who serves Ares (also translated as Alus), the young man on the game's cover. She has a stern, stoic demeanor and deep knowledge about world affairs as well as magic and military strategy. How she came by this knowledge, or where she came from, is a mystery. She is voiced by Yumi Uchiyama.
Ansel lives in former Bright nation territory with close ties to the Imperial army. The son of a carpenter, he lived a carefree life, but when the war started he joined a group of vigilantes. He has studied military tactics but his knowledge is very shallow. He's a bit of a perfectionist and is also know as a letch.
Langrisser Re:Incarnation comes out mid-July in Japan on the 3DS. A Western release has not been announced.
