Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward Release Date Announced
And take a glimpse at the Artifact 2 armor. 03.07.15 - 4:42 PM Today at PAX East, producer and director of Final Fantasy XIV, Naoki Yoshida, announced the release date of the exciting new expansion to the game, Heavensward. Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward will go live for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Mac on June 23rd. Pre-Orders begin on March 16th with early access given to those that pre-order on June 19th. You can buy three different editions of the expansion including a collector's edition, a standard edition, and an all-in-one edition. A 9 minute benchmark will also be released next month which will allow players to test their PCs, and explore customization options for the new race the Au Ra. Not only did Yoshida tell us the release date, but he gave us a teaser of all the new places we will visit in the expansion. On top of that we also got another teaser of all armor that players will equip when hitting the new level cap of 60. A lot of it looks like the teased Artifact 2 armor shown to us almost a year ago during the initial launch of A Realm Reborn.
