Final Fantasy Friday Media Part IV: Final Fantasy Type-0 HD
And we close the night on a high note.
02.21.15 - 2:35 AM

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is this year's Bravely Default: The overdue English release of an immensely-acclaimed JRPG by Square Enix. Released in 2011 for the PSP in Japan, the original Final Fantasy Type-0 earned excellent reviews, and fans have been clamoring for it as much as we did for Bravely Default, Xenoblade, and others.

At long last, Square Enix heard the pleas, and not only is this darker Final Fantasy (that was once part of the Final Fantasy XIII family) title making its way here, but in an upgraded HD format on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Not everyone is thrilled with the plan of porting a handheld title to consoles, and admittedly, I love my PS Vita, and want companies to support it more myself. But if it's a choice between PS4 and the game staying in Japan, I'm all for it.

Anyway, enough of that. Our final Final Fantasy Friday update focuses on FF Type-0, and these new screens make me want it that much more:

Also, if you were a bad fan like me, and hadn't watched that latest trailer yet, here it is again. Watch it this time! There's also a sizable chunk of Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae demo footage at the end that you won't want to miss.

As usual, check out all 18 new screen shots in our Final Fantasy Type-0 gallery, and prepare for the game's release on March 17th.
