Already with a successful Kickstarted project for Shadownrun Returns, Harebrained Schemes has done it again with Shadowrun: Hong Kong. And there really was never a doubt either; the final total raised was $1,204,726, far surpassing the goal of $100,000.
Hong Kong's Game Director, Mitch Gitelman, had this to say, "We love our backers! Thanks for all your support. It's a pleasure to make games for you! We're already hard at work making Shadowrun: Hong Kong and will be noses to the grindstone until it's done."
By raising so much money, Harebrained Schemes was able to fund all of their subgoals. This means we will be getting additional characters, additional party member side missions, additional endings, and even a 4-5 hour Shadows of Hong Kong mini-campaign.
Shadowrun: Hong Kong is on-schedule for a mid-2015 release date on Windows, Mac and Linux.
