Final Fantasy XV Director Wants a Worldwide Release Date
And learn about parrying and dodging enemy attacks.

Director Hajime Tabata would like to see a simultaneous worldwide release date for Final Fantasy XV.

"I'd like to be able to do a worldwide release," Tabata told Mexican games site LevelUp. "We don't want to impose any big delays to players from around the world, so I'm hoping that everyone will be able to play the same Final Fantasy XV together within as close of a time frame as possible."

In addition to this revelation, Tabata revealed a bit more about the battle system in Final Fantasy XV. Players can either parry or dodge attacks. A parry at the right moment will leave your adversary stunned and primed for retaliation, though there's obviously some risk when compared to just hightailing it out of danger.

Final Fantasy XV is in development for Playstation 4 and Xbox One. We don't have a release date, but maybe we'll be playing it alongside our friends in Japan. Fingers crossed!
