Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride is now available for iOS and Android. First released on the SNES in 1992, a remake later arrived for Nintendo DS in 2009 with a number of changes and additions. Now, a port of the DS version has been released for iOS and Android.

This version of the game (like the DS release) added new features such as updated graphics; Nera's older sister, Debora, as a possible romance option; and four, instead of three, party members at a time. The smartphone version also supports quicksaving, five different combat speed options, and runs in portrait mode.

Dragon Quest V takes you through the life and adventures of the protagonist, from his birth to childhood, and then adulthood where he gets married. It is also renowned as the first game in the series to introduce the monster-collecting concept, and also the first to feature a playable pregnancy.

If you are returning to the game or trying it out for the first time, be sure to check it out on the iOS and Android stores. Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride is priced at $14.99 US.
