New Info on the Characters of Xenoblade Chronicles X
A great day for Xenophiles. 01.16.15 - 5:41 PM Keeping with the rash of new media on Xenoblade Chronicles X, the game's official Japanese website now has profiles for three of characters that will accompany you across the vast planet Mira. First is Elma, the white haired military officer who initially introduces you to the planet. She leads a mercenary group called BLADE and is widely respected in the organization for her composure and judgement. Prior to the events of the game she was a member of a government spec-ops vehicle instruction team called the Doll Squad. Next up is Lynlee, 13 year old child prodigy and mechanic for BLADE. Lynlee is a child genius who has been involved in developing the Dolls, the giant combat mechs oft featured in the trailer. She has a cheerful and open-minded attitude as befits someone of her young age. The third character is Tatsu, a Nopon and apparent native of the planet Mira. Veterans of the previous game will recognize the uber-cute creatures that have become something of a mascot for the series. Tatsu will apparently come under your care through the events of the game, but it is unclear whether he will participate in combat. He displays the same innocent and child-like qualities of the Nopon from Xenoblade Chronicles, but can also be a bit arrogant at times. And last but certainly not least, we have a rather stunning image that shows the scale of the characters and mechs in relation to the world. Xenoblade Chronicles X comes out for the Wii U on April 29th in Japan, and later this year in the west.
