Final Fantasy XIV's Eternal Bond System Is Now Live
Going to the chapel...
12.11.14 - 5:44 AM

Final Fantasy XIV's long awaited Eternal Bond System went live with patch 2.45 on Tuesday. The eternal bond system allows players to devote their eternal love or friendship to one another in an elaborate ceremony. The eternal bonding ceremony comes in 3 different plans of standard, gold, and platinum. The standard plan is free but the gold and platinum plans will set you back $10 US and $20 US dollars respectively.

Each plan comes with eternity rings, ceremony attire, an embrace emote, a wedding cake housing item and a special hairstyle. The gold plan comes with a dyeable version of the ceremony attire, a tandem white chocobo, a demon box minion for all attending guests, and options to change the color of the carpeting and flowers at the ceremony. And finally the platinum plan gives you additional dyeable attire and more options for the carpeting and flowers.

Players apply for an eternal bonding on the Mogstation and go though a series of steps and in game quests in order to finally reserve a ceremony. When the ceremony is over, players may then use their eternity rings to teleport to their beloved's side at any time assuming they are attuned to the aetheryte in that area.

Ceremonies start this Friday and, as always, don't forget to check back with RPGFan for continued coverage on Final Fantasy XIV.
