And Double Fine announce a remaster of Day of the Tentacle!
12.09.14 - 2:29 PM

Double Fine, at the PlayStation Experience this past weekend, announced that Grim Fandango Remastered will launch on PlayStation 4, PS Vita, PC, Mac and Linux on January 26th.

For those that somehow have never heard of Grim Fandango, the original came out 16 years ago and quickly became a cult classic. A LucasArts adventure game, you control Manny Calavera, a travel agent for souls in The Land of the Dead, who stumbles across corruption.

Hot on the heels of Double Fine announcing the release date for Grim Fandango, Double Fine went on to state that fellow classic point-and-click Day of the Tentacle will also get a remaster.

The plot of Day of the Tentacle centers a monstrous, purple tentacle drinking toxic sludge and then vowing to take over the world while you control three characters as they undergo time-travel hijinks in an attempt to defeat the threat.

Day of the Tentacle: Special Edition will be released on PlayStation 4, PS Vita, PC, Mac and Linux. No release date was given.
