Square Enix has announced that a free downloadable demo of Bravely Second will be available from the Nintendo eShop on December 10th. The contents of the demo remain a mystery.
Set after the events of Bravely Default, Bravely Second sees Agnès, one of the four heroes from the original game, as the pope of the Crystal Orthodoxy. It has been revealed that the story will start with her abduction by Oblivion, the supposed new villain of the new game.
The player will be given control of Magnolia Arch and a new team of three other characters with the mission of rescuing Agnès. Magnolia is a "Baal Buster" and will be working with the knights of the Crystal Orthodoxy to bring Agnès home.
Bravely Second is expected to be available this winter in Japan on 3DS.
