Steam Transition for Dark Souls PC Delayed to December
Wait to praise the sun.

Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition brought the crushingly difficult and atmospheric game to PC way back when, but one of the hardest foes to defeat wasn't the dreaded Capra Demon or even the deadly combination of Ornstein and Smough. Games for Windows Live proved incredibly difficult to manage, and Bandai Namco took a lot of flak for using the seemingly "failed" service. Thankfully, the publisher announced back in October that they would be migrating their dark adventure to Steam in the near future, but it appears gamers will have to wait a bit longer than they originally expected. The hope is to have everything up and running at some point in December.

Bandai Namco will offer a service to transfer saves and achievements to Steam. Players can also redeem their GFWL product key on Steam so they won't have to pay for the game a second time. Stay tuned for more information as we get it.
