Bloodborne Delayed to March 24th
NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Well, this is certainly one of the worst ways to start a morning! The PlayStation 4 exclusive Bloodborne has been delayed from its original February release date to March 24th in North America. Japan will see the game out on March 26th, Europe on March 25th, and the UK and Ireland on March 27th.

From the US Playstation Blog:

Dear community,
It is with regret that I must inform you that Bloodborne will be slightly delayed.
While development continues unabated, we would like our team to deliver the best possible final experience. We were gratified by the feedback and data we received from those who participated in our limited Alpha test. The extra production time will also allow us to better integrate these learnings.

Bloodborne is now set to launch in North America exclusively on PS4 on March 24th, 2015.

Please look forward to some exciting Bloodborne news in early December. Thank you very much for your continued support.

While this is certainly bad news for fans, I would definitely take a delay on a game if it results in a better overall product. Industry analysts and commentators have been commenting for months that it was strange to have two AAA releases for Sony in the month of Februrary. Giving a little breathing room between The Order: 1886 and Bloodborne is probably a good thing for Sony.

Stay tuned for more news as we get it.
