Koei Tecmo has announced releases dates for their two upcoming Atelier titles, Atelier Ayesha Plus: The Alchemist of Dusk for PlayStation Vita and Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea for PlayStation 3. Handheld fans will be able to get their hands on the Ayesha port on January 13, while the brand new iteration, Shallie will launch on March 10.

Atelier Ayesha follows the titular Ayesha Altugle after she is visited by her missing-and-assumed-deceased sister Nio and begins a quest to find her, convinced she is alive. The Vita version will include dual audio tracks, bosses from Atelier Escha & Logy, a new hard mode, and Album missions that unlock exclusive costumes and other content. You can check out Derek's review of the PS3 version here.

The last entry in the Dusk trilogy, Atelier Shallie, features simplified gameplay for newcomers of the series, but still has a choice to return to the classic style of previous titles. Also for the first time, players will be free from time management restrictions and will be able to play for an unlimited amount of time. By taking control of either the mission-focused Shallistera, or the ambitious synthesist Shallote, both nicknamed "Shallie" despite their disparate personalities, players will either find a cure for Shallistera's father or rejuvenate the failing workshop of Shallotte.

The first quarter of 2015 will be a good one for alchemy fans - keep your eyes on RPGFan for reviews as these games become available!
