Fox-like villains, goth adversaries, and EVA suits! Is this throwback thursday?

The latest issue of Famitsu has provided a slew of images and information regarding the highly anticipated Tales of Zestiria.
Above we have a large photo of the newest addition, Renald. While we covered the basics of his character in our previous story here, the new images provided give a better idea of the fox-faced murderer.
Following the Renald spread was some additional information regarding the guild system. While the main scenario focuses on two warring countries, guilds operate between the lines of each country. While usually specializing in one area or another (assassination, data collection, transport), each guild will play an integral role in the main story itself. We're also hoping for some additional content to spring from these guilds as well!
Following the Renald and guild spotlight, Famitsu provides us with some great images of Simon, who was also featured in our earlier story. We are also treated to some new areas, including the Prisonerback Wetlands, The Wind Temple of Trials Ginevia, and The Earth Temple of Trials Morgause.
Lastly, the equipment skills system and additional images of the EVA plug suits were featured. Equipment will come with four slots, allowing for one skill each. While each piece of equipment may come with a different set of skills, combining certain skills may provide additional enhancements and abilities. Skills can also be obtained by using the Equipment Fusion System, which requires combining two separate pieces.
Tales of Zestiria will release in Japan on January 22nd for the PlayStation 3. North American and European release dates will hopefully follow soon after! Be sure to check out our gallery and preview, linked below, for more on this exciting title!
