Nippon Ichi Software have announced that Disgaea 5 will be hitting PlayStation 4 on March 26th, 2015 in Japan. There will be a standard edition released for 7,200 yen (~70 US), and a collector's edition for 10,200 yen (~100 US) which includes special packaging, a "Usaria & Yelow Prinny" Niitengo, hardcover art book, and two-disc soundtrack CD. A demo will be released on the Japanese PlayStation Network in October.
A new teaser trailer has been released, which you can watch below. Check out those realistic PS4-era graphics! Sarcasm aside, the 2D artwork is certainly high quality.
NIS America have already confirmed they will release the game in North America. No date has been announced.
