Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Release Date Announced, Footage Debuts
And it comes with a Final Fantasy XV demo! 09.17.14 - 4:57 PM Square Enix sure isn't moving according to the Final Fantasy XV school of game development when it comes to the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One release of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. Scant months after its very soft announcement during E3 2014, Game Informer has reported that we'll see a US release of the localized version on March 17, 2015. The story has since been pulled for unknown reasons, so this news could be subject to change. Square Enix has also opted to sweeten the Type-0 pot, Dragon Quest VIII-style, with a Final Fantasy XV demo download code included in the package. Entitled Episode Duscae, the sampler of the fifteenth installment will feature a remixed collection of early game segments. There hasn't been any comment yet as to whether or not the demo will launch alongside Type-0, but we'll be sure to update you as soon as more information surfaces. Last, but not least, if you're eager to see how the formerly PSP-bound action RPG has made the jump forward two console generations, then you're in luck, because we have 25 minutes of uninterrupted footage available for your viewing pleasure. Here's a GIF to whet your appetite: And you can find the full video by clicking here.
