While details regarding Compile Heart's Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force have been scarce at best, details from the head of development, Norihisa Kochiwa, have been released outlining more of the general premise.
Originally announced as a PlayStation 4 title during Sony's pre-Tokyo Game Show conference, players originally though Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force to be just a port of the PlayStation 3 game debuting to English audiences this week.
However, Kochiwa had stated that the game is a stand-alone title. While parts of Fairy Fencer F will be included, they are only there to allow players the opportunity to jump into things fresh without missing out on the overall world. Kochiwa also stated that Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force will also have a darker tone and theme than Fairy Fencer F, but he did not clarify what that entailed. However, he did tease at improvements to the battle system, as well as new features for players to enjoy.
Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force is currently still in development for the PlayStation 4. We'll keep you all updated as more details emerge.
