It feels like it wasn't that long ago that Bandai Namco was announcing the PS Vita RPG Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment for a North American release, and now that release is upon us - or at least, it will be on August 19th.

We have some info on a DLC pack and future content, but so that it doesn't get lost in the shuffle, make sure you also take note of the 24 new screens and character artworks in our Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment gallery.

Alongside the release of the game will be a DLC pack of various outfits for the game's heroines to wear. This limited edition pack will only be available until November 18th, and then it goes away. It's surprising that Bandai Namco doesn't keep it around later as paid DLC, but this makes it even more of an incentive to buy early. You can see all of these outfits below:

Furthermore, it seems Bandai Namco really wants to support Sword Art Online moving forward, and about a month after launch - on September 23rd to be exact - will release a major update with an increased level cap (200 -> 250), 50 new missions, new quests, bosses, weapons, armor, areas, and more. All of these additions are estimated to add about another 30 hours of gameplay to the title.

Look for Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment on August 19th exclusively on the PS Vita PlayStation Store for $39.99 USD.
