To celebrate one year since A Realm was Reborn in Final Fantasy XIV, Square Enix have launched a new section on their website. This anniversary content will be released gradually over the next few weeks, and includes new events, the return of past events, competitions and live streams.
So far, there's a new anniversary illustration gallery, info on the upcoming Moonfire Faire event (starts August 14th), and a movie-making competition (which is accepting entries now).
Coming up soon is a 14-hour live broadcast from Square Enix Headquarters, a new seasonal event called The Rising, and the return of the crossover events from the past year: Final Fantasy XI's Shantotto event, the Final Fantasy XIII Lightning event, and yes, the Dragon Quest X golem event.
