In their ongoing adventure through each generation of the Pokémon games, Twitch Plays Pokémon have finally arrived at the latest entries in the series: X & Y. If you're unfamiliar with the phenomenon, the concept is that users watching the game on Twitch are able to input commands and the game will obey. Now, imagine thousands of people doing that all at once.
While all past titles have been played on an emulator, this one features the use of a modified 3DS which, most importantly, means all online functionality is available. In fact, another trainer even traded the team a "Lady Helix." Which, if you watched any of their play through Red, you'll likely remember how often that Helix Fossil was consulted.
