Yesterday Nintendo released more details on Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire.

Newly announced Mega-Evolved Pokémon Mega Metagross was the big reveal. Known as the Iron Leg Pokémon, Mega Metagross is a massive Steel and Psychic type who stands at 8'2' and weights 2,078.7 lbs. After Mega Evolving, Metagross' Ability changes to Tough Claws, which increases the power of any attacks that make physical contact. Mega Metagross will also come with enhanced Attack, Defense, Special Attack, and Special Defense.

Mega Metagross will be a featured Pokémon in Pokémon League Champion Steven's line up. Although Steven will assist trainers throughout the game, he will also be the final battle trainers will face before becoming Pokémon League Champion.

Additional details were also provided regarding Cosplay Pikachu as well as Pokémon-Amie. Originally appearing in Pokémon X and Y, Pokémon-Amie will return in Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. Pokémon-Amie will give players the opportunity to create closer ties with their Pokémon by petting them, feeding them Poké Puffs, and playing games together. These ties will eventually result in better performance in battle. Following this, Cosplay Pikachu was also highlighted. Appearing to have some connection to the Contest Hall, players can interact with Cosplay Pikachu via Pokémon-Amie.

Lastly, more information on Mega Diancie was revealed. Upon Mega Evolving, Mega Diancie will get the Magic Bounce Ability. This ability makes any status condition or stat-lowering effect bounce back at the Pokémon trying to inflict it. Mega Diancie will also come with boosted Speed, Attack, and Special Attack, but will suffer from lowered Defense and Special Defense. Players can obtain Diancie from participating GameStop stores in the United States this fall.

Below we've included the most recent trailer, which shows off Mega Metagross as well as many of the other features players will have to look forward to!

Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire will release this November for the Nintendo 3DS.
