And you thought you wouldn't see any more PSP dungeon crawlers in North America.

Like many companies, XSEED announced their E3 lineup just before the show, including, surprisingly, the PSP title, Brandish: The Dark Revenant, developed by Nihon Falcom (Ys, Legend of Heroes).
Not only was this iteration of Brandish released in 2009 in Japan, but it was a remake of the 1994 SNES original, with increased difficulty. XSEED loves some Falcom though, so it's nice to see something so unexpected make its way here, and soon - Brandish: The Dark Revenant is scheduled to release on the PlayStation Store later this summer. While it's a PSP title, it will also be compatible with the PS Vita.
