Behold! Music for a new Mana series title!

The Seiken Densetsu/Secret of Mana/Mana series is one with a long history and a great many fans. When Square Enix announced that the latest release (after many years, no less) would be a free-to-play mobile game, though, some of those long-time fans were upset.
Unfortunately, I don't have any news on the quality of Rise of Mana. What I do know, though, is that I enjoyed the soundtrack quite a bit. My fellow editor Andrew Barker also gave the album a thorough listen, and was gracious enough to write up his thoughts for you to peruse. Composed by a variety of notables, including Kenji Ito, Hiroki Kikuta, Yoko Shimomura, and Tsuyoshi Sekito, among even more others, the Rise of Mana soundtrack just might take you back to an earlier age of RPGs.
The only way to know for sure, though, is to read Andrew's review and listen to samples while you do it. Go forth!
