Square Enix Sales Beating Expectations
Due to great sales, Square Enix will be revising its forecasts.

In a season of down sales and consistently lowered financial expectations, Square Enix recently reported that sales are doing so well they'll be increasing their forecasts. Playing a huge role in these numbers were recent titles Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, Thief, and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.

Square Enix also stated that they've been making strides towards cost reduction initiatives as well as exchange gains on the weakening yen to contribute to their exemplary numbers. They're even predicting to record a profit for the year ending March of 2014 of 6.6 billion yen (roughly 65 million USD).

A major factor in these great numbers is the recent news of Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn registering its 2 millionth account just after the PlayStation 4 launch of the game. With such a great season already behind them, we're excited to see where Square Enix will go from here!
