Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Now Available On PS4
But if you were on PS3, hopefully you transferred over days ago.

Today marks the official PlayStation 4 launch of Square Enix's once-maligned (1.0), now-popular (2.0) MMO, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. After a couple of brief beta phases, PS4 players can wander into Eorzea on fat chocobos (a Collector's Edition bonus) and lose many hours of their lives on fighting, acquiring gear, crafting, gathering, and just about anything else.

If you haven't done so already, PlayStation 3 players can transfer to the PS4 version for free. Otherwise, the PS4 version costs $39.99, or $79.99 for the physical collector's edition ($59.99 for the digital CE). Naturally, Square today released a launch trailer that you can watch here, and some new screens in our gallery linked below.

Be sure to stay tuned for our thoughts on patch 2.2. And now - I must be on my way to Eorzea to acquire whatever that dragoon is wearing in those new screens.
