In yet another video released by Namco Bandai, you can take a look behind the scenes of Dark Souls II. Yui Tanimura, the game's co-director, is questioned on a wide variety of aspects relating to the game such as design, story and mechanics. It's in Japanese, but subtitled, and you can find it below:
Interestingly, Tanimura mentions his team rarely have the story planned out from the start. Instead they "figure out what kind of world and journey the player needs to go on in order to convey that concept." I doubt this would be surprising to anyone who has played either of the Dark Souls titles.
Dark Souls II will be released on March 11th on PS3 and 360. A PC release will follow soon after.
