Official Japanese Tales Of Zestiria Website Now Open
Time to learn more about the world and story. 02.02.14 - 9:51 PM Namco Bandai have now opened an official Japanese website for Tales of Zestiria. On it, you can find information about the world, characters, story and more. While it's all in Japanese on the site, you can keep reading below for a summary of it in English. According to the world information, the game is set on the continent of Greenwood where two kingdoms, Highland and Lowlance, are at war. In these nations is a belief in beings known as "The Divine," called gods by some and devils by others. Either way, there are those of "pure minds and bodies" who are touched by them and gain some of their powers. On the prologue page, a small amount of information is given about a utopia where humans and The Divine live together in harmony. There is an impurity spreading across the land, but this utopia has been kept safe from it. As you might have guessed, this is where the story begins for the game's hero, Slay. He is apparently a skilled Spirit Artes user, but has never gone far from his home village. One day, he goes exploring to a nearby ruin, and they collapse. He escapes unarmed, but finds a girl who has been trapped beneath them. She is the heroine of the story, Alicia, and is investigating strange occurrences across the land. Tales of Zestiria will be released on PS3, though no date has been announced yet.
