Phantasy Star Online 2's Producers Discusses Plans for 2014
Plus, we might be seeing it in English soon... sort of. 01.07.14 - 9:32 PM Like many other game developers, producer of MMO Phantasy Star Online 2, Satoshi Sakai, has voiced his plans and expectations about the coming year. Episode 2 of the game will be coming to an end this year, but have no fear, since Phantasy Star Online 2 es, the mobile version, will be launching on Android and iOS devices during during spring. He has promised plenty of PSO2 events throughout the year including the Arcs Coalition Festival that players will see this month. Towards March, a new update will be worked on with manga author Mamoru Nagano, but no details about how this might work have been released yet. Finally, expect a big event surrounding the second anniversary of the game in July. In related news, Sega announced they will be bringing Phantasy Star Online 2 to South-East Asia with English language options sometime this year. As of yet, the game has not received localisation in the west, but Sega have still not ruled out the possibility of doing so in the future.
