Now that we've had our final say on version 2.0 of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, it's time to get into the nitty-gritty of the game's first major update, A Realm Awoken (aka patch 2.1). Some of us have... maybe spent a fair amount of time this week already playing through this content, and there's plenty more to do.
While we're doing that — though you should join us in-game — we have a bunch of new screen shots showing but some of the new content in 2.1. Specifically, this latest batch of screen shots gives us a look at the new extreme mode Primal battles with Ifrit, Garuda, and Titan. You'll also see extreme mode Ultima Weapon, and the return of a certain Pumpkin King Moogle King. Finally, there's several screens (and really lovely artwork) of the three all-new Free Company housing locations. Nobody can afford any of the land yet, but hey, it's fun to browse and lust over Cactaur lamps, right?
