It's the biggest MMORPG patch I've ever seen.

The patch notes for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Patch 2.1 (dubbed A Realm Awoken) have been released, and they are absurdly detailed. This gargantuan update to the game adds a glut of new features and content, including player housing, a PvP arena, new story missions, Beast Tribe quests, a Treasure Hunt system, the Crystal Tower dungeon, and much, much more. The members of the Emerald Shield (that's us) were shocked to find that the price of land for company housing starts at a cool twenty million gil(!!) on our server. I guess we'll be saving for the next few months! I'm not depressed about this at all.*
