The Walking Dead Season 2 Announced, New Media Added

After the success and critical acclaim that the first season received, Telltale Games yesterday finally made The Walking Dead: Season 2 official. Continuing the story of young Clementine, whom players will take on the role of and is orphaned as a result of the zombie apocalypse. Aside from surviving among the undead, The Walking Dead will again put your morals to the test and make decisions a key element in the second season.

The Walking Dead: Season 2 will be available for PC, Mac, home consoles and iOS, with other platforms likely to be announced later. The first episode does not yet have a release date, but all five episodes will be out in 2014. Currently, the season is available for pre-order on Steam and Telltale's website and is 10% off, making it $22.49. Watch the first teaser trailer here and be sure to check out the gallery below.

Additionally, The Walking Dead: Game of the Year Edition was also announced. This bundle, for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 so far, includes all five episodes of Season One, the 400 Days DLC, plus behind-the-scenes content and the game's original score. Though this doesn't have a release date either, the bundle costs $29.99 US and is now available for pre-order at retailers.
