In Drakengard 3, your weapons play a more key role than usual. Protagonist Zero can equip a sword, a spear, bare fists or a chakram, and can even switch between them in mid-battle. Through the game's weapon story system you can collect items to level up the weapons and give them new properties.

The weapons obviously all have their own pros or cons. Whereas swords are the most balanced, spears have more of a range, while fists obviously do not. Chakrams are weaker, but have more range and are good in crowds.

Drakengard 3 for PlayStation 3 releases in December in Japan, and in 2014 overseas. Be sure to check out the newest screens in our gallery below!
