Pokémon X and Y Fossil Pokémon And Their Evolutions Revealed
Rawr! 09.23.13 - 12:04 AM With less than a month to the release of Pokémon X & Y on Nintendo 3DS, there are still so many Pokémon we know nothing about. As of today, you can add another four to your new Kalos Pokédex, with the announcement of the two fossil Pokémon and their evolutions. Created from the Jaw Fossil, Tyrunt is a new Rock/Dragon Pokémon. It is reportedly over one hundred million years old and is prone to throwing fits. It has the Strong Jaw ability that raises the power of biting moves such as Crunch, and it evolves into Tyrantrum. The second Pokémon evolves from the Sail Fossil and is named Amaura. It's a Rock/Ice type, and packs the new Refrigerate ability that turns Normal type moves into Ice type. Like Tyrunt, it's said to be over one hundred million years old. It evolves into Aurorus, who can learn Aurora Beam at a low level, and the new move Freeze Dry that is super-effective against Water types. As is usual, fossils can be restored at a lab. Pokémon X & Y will be released worldwide on October 12.
