Some Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn PS4 Details
PS3 players can switch to the PS4 version for free, oh and there will be a beta.

At last night's SCEA press conference, we learned that the PlayStation 4 will release uncharacteristically later in Japan than North America, that is, early next year. Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn isn't exactly a launch title, but it will get a beta phase starting the same day - February 22nd, 2014. Launched two weeks ago on PS3 and PC, PS3 players will get to transfer their character data over to the PS4 version for free if they so choose.

A full PS4 launch date and further details on the beta, and the PS3 transfer have yet to be announced. Stay tuned for our A Realm Reborn review journal, coming soon!
