Layton 7 Announced
Yes, it's really called that. For now.

At their annual conference in Japan, Level-5 announced that Layton 7 is in the works. And yes, that is really the title (so far). So far the details are scant, but we do know this will be a 'role-playing puzzle' game on iOS, Android and Nintendo 3DS. In the game's 3D setting, players will have the option of taking on the role of one of several different characters (taxi driver, child, even a zombie or dog - among several others) and explore the town.

Layton 7 does not yet have a date.
