Borderlands 2 Gets A Vita Port
Sony's handheld will have some wubwub. I mean, love. 08.21.13 - 6:58 PM It was announced yesterday at Sony's Gamescom press conference that Gearbox Software is bringing its successful FPS/action RPG hybrid Borderlands 2 to the PlayStation Vita. This may not come as a surprise to anyone, as CEO Randy Pitchford had expressed interest in doing a Vita port last year with the support of Sony. And that is precisely what's happening. Sony will publish the game while Gearbox works with Iron Galaxy Studios (Divekick) to port it over to the Vita. The title will still support four-player co-op, though it not has been confirmed what,if any, extra content will be included. Borderlands 2 for PlayStation Vita is slated for a 2014 release.
