Earthbound Launching On Wii U Virtual Console... Now

Fans frustrated at the lack of localization of Mother 3 for the GBA can take a little bit of solace: the game that spawned their love of the series, Earthbound, is available today on the Wii U Virtual Console.

The price comes in a little bit higher than most other SNES Virtual Console games - $10 instead of $8 - but with high demand amongst RPG fans, that might be par for the course. But if you're ready to return to Onett in a non-Super Smash Bros. environment, now is the time.

Now if only I owned a Wii U...
